How it works

  1. We collect what is going around in Lara: what an outlet we are still evaluating publishes, what readers tell us and what is shared on social media.
  2. Only things with a source we can name appear here, and each item names it.
  3. Each item says what would confirm it. If it is confirmed or proven false, we mark it here for 7 days.
  4. Anything nobody confirms leaves the list after 7 days.

What we never publish here

We leave these out even when they are going around:

  • Accusations against a person
  • Health, medicines or outbreaks
  • Deaths, disappearances or arrests
  • Emergency alerts
  • A business's prices, bonuses, scams or money
  • Election results
